We are practical parents and we know that planning to use cloth with a newborn can leave you with a lot of questions.
Should I invest in a full stash of newborn diapers? How big or small will my baby be at birth? How long with he or she be in newborn size diapers? And of course, what do we do with all of these newborn diapers once our baby outgrows them in a month or two???
THIS is why we launched a Newborn Cloth Diaper Rental at Crunch Natural Parenting. Rental gives you the benefit of using cloth from birth and lets you try several different kinds of diapers before you buy. Rental saves you money too, the fee for 4 weeks is only $45 and an 8 week rental is $75, which is a fraction of the cost of diapering a newborn with disposables.

When should I place my order?
We recommend checking out with your Newborn Cloth Diaper Rental as soon as you know that you are interested. Some due date windows might sell out, so availability is based on first come first serve basis! If you have any questions, just send us an email and we will see what we can do to help you out!
We recommend scheduling for the week of your due date, so that you can be ready as soon as your baby is born. Don't worry, we know that it is just an estimated due date. Let us know when your baby is here and we will have the diapers ready for you to pick up! If your baby is already born and you want to try newborn cloth right away, simply mention that in the "note" field at checkout and you can come pick them up immediately (if available).
What are the terms of the Refundable Deposit?
The refund of your security deposit can be given to you at 100% of it's value in store credit or returned to you via PayPal or to your credit card, minus a 15% processing fee.
The deposit is refunded to you once we receive the returned diapers in normal used condition (no broken snaps, tears, unusual marks, etc). If diapers are missing or damaged upon return of the rental kit, the value of the missing or damaged items will be replaced from the security deposit.
What kind of diapers are included? How many?
You'll receive a great sampling of cloth diapering options- all brands that we carry at Crunch. Each rental package includes enough cloth diapers for 24 diaper changes, which lasts for 2.5 days. Most cloth diaper users consider this a working supply of diapers and will wash 3 times per week.
Is shipping available?
Yes, for an additional fee we are happy to ship!
At checkout, non-locals should select the Diaper Service shipping option. Local customers ONLY should select "Free In Store Pick Up". Don't worry, for non-local customers, we'll include postage paid return packaging for you to ship the diapers back to us! Locals will be picking up and returning the diapers in store to cut down on shipping costs and carbon footprint.
Please note that the cost of the diaper rental and security deposit do not count towards the free shipping minimum purchase.
