"Babywearing is a really practical thing, and it reminds us of that spark of genius in humanity. People always stop me when I'm out and wearing my babies because they want to talk about it. It resonates with us because deep down we all want to be the best parents we can be, but we know that we have other responsibilities too- and babywearing solves that problem.

In our family, we've learned to connect inward, towards our babies, but we are also connected outward towards our family, friends, and our community. So much of mainstream culture expects us as new parents to do everything ourselves, as if asking for help were a sign of weakness. It's actually another genius strategy- you can survive without support, but you can't THRIVE without support. If you are having a baby- get connected."
